The late Lee Alexander McQueen’s iconic, eponymous brand is expanding into the scent scene, WWD reports. The British label has just confirmed a fragrance deal with Procter & Gamble’s P&G Prestige sector, which will begin product development for both men’s and women’s fragrances.

This isn’t Alexander McQueen’s first stint with the beauty business: The high-end fashion house released the Kingdom scent in 2003 and another, dubbed My Queen, in 2005—both of which were later discontinued. Yet, with Alexander McQueen’s sustaining prominence with the help of creative director Sarah Burton, the brand’s CEO Jonathan Akeroyd felt it was time to try again.

“It’s really exciting for us. We’ve been taking our time to re-enter the market, to make sure we picked the right partner at the right time,” Akeroyd told WWD. He added, “The brand wasn’t mature enough then, but it’s quite well known that our business has grown

Designer Troubles – Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s legal troubles first started in December, and has resulted in the designers and five additional defendants being found guilty of tax evasion. It hasn’t been a good week for designers. Yesterday, the news broke that former Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière is facing a lawsuit from Kering (the label’s parent company) after a tell all interview featured in System Magazine. As for Dolce & Gabbana, judge Antonella Brambilla has sentenced the designers to one year and eight months in jail. Allegations raised include an evasion of 416 million euros in taxes with the sale of their label to holding company Gado Srl. Dolce & Gabbana are said to appeal the decision.

Vice magazine has caused a stir after they published a new suicide inspired editorial named ‘Last Words’ inside their ‘Women in Fiction’ issue, which they also featured online. The editorial depicts several models playing the roles of major female literary icons, and the photos reenact or pay homage to the moment they took their own lives. Stylist Annette Lamothe-Ramos and Photographer Annabel Mehran are credited for the images which have been branded extremely tasteless by multiplewebsites.

Vice has now removed the image set from their website, although it will still feature inside the print copy. They also issued an apology:

““Last Words” was created in this tradition and focused on the demise of a set of writers whose lives we very much wish weren’t cut tragically short, especially at their own hands. We will no longer display “Last Words” on our website and apologize to anyone who was hurt or offended.”

The writers included are Virginia Woolf, Iris Chang, Dorothy Parker, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sylvia Plath, Sanmao, and Elise Cowen.

Though she’s only 20, Karlie Kloss has already cemented her status as one of theindustry’s top models with that fierce runway stomp and legs that never quit.

Now, she’s putting her pegs to good use, collaborating with denim brand Frame on two styles of jeans meant for long-legged ladies like herself.

“It’s a really exciting collaboration for me, because it came out of necessity,” Kloss told us at a preview of the line yesterday at Soho House. “I’ve been insecure my whole life about my height because I couldn’t find clothes to fit my body.”

Frame Denim was founded last year by Swedes Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson (who are also behind The Saturday Group and Industrie Magazine). Without any press, they quickly garnered celebrity fans like Miranda Kerr and Amanda Seyfried–and now, Kloss–with perfectly-fit jeans that don’t sag. Their secret?

“We really have invested in the fabric, which a lot of people forget,” Grede explains. “Everyone talks about fit, but half of the fit is using fantastic fabric.”

The collaboration with Kloss came organically: Torstensson was dining with Kloss one night and when she complained about not being able to find jeans, they decided to collaborate on a long-legged pair. The brand, which only just launched in November, didn’t even wait for market testing before teaming up with the model.

Kloss, no stranger to a good collab, is excited to launch her jeans. “I’m really lucky to have such talented friends that help me with all of my needs–jeans and cookies!–but all the things I’m a part of are things I’m genuinely passionate about and with people I really enjoy working with.”

And since Frame is dedicated to perfect fit, they took a different approach to creating the lengthy jeans. Rather than simply extend their normal block (the form used to fit the jeans) as most denim companies do, Frame made an entirely new block with a 40 inch inseam–something no denim company has done before.

“I have already gotten so many text messages from my [model] friends, like, ‘Karlie, my jeans better be in the mail!’” Kloss joked.

But Kloss hopes these jeans won’t just end up on models.

“We’re on a mission to help every girl find the perfect pair of jeans–for all the cold ankles, we will cover them!” Kloss said smiling.

“We think that cold ankles are the source of everything that’s wrong with the world,” Grede added. “If we can stop that, we can create world peace.”

Frame’s Forever Karlie jeans come in a skinny fit and a flare, and will be available through Net-a-Porter and Barneys New York starting June 1.

Joining some of Hollywood’s best known faces on the red carpet, models Tanya Dziahileva and Georgia May Jagger showed off their glamorous ensembles at the Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony. Russian model Tanya looked stunning in a sleeveless white floor-length dress which featured all-over embellishment. She completed the look with a white clutch, red lips and curled hair. Lara Stone, a Met Ball regular, apparently got a better offer this year: reports indicate that she gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.

It was announced that the Dutch supermodel, who is married to comedian and Britain’s Got Talent star David Walliams, was expecting the couple’s first child in November.

Although no official statement about the birth has been made, photographer Mert Alas appeared to confirm the news via Twitter before deleting his tweet.

Wrote model Terese Baca: ‘Congratulations to Lara Stone and David Walliams, who had a baby boy yesterday.’

Over the weekend, UK tabloid the Sunpublished photos of Cara Delevingnedropping a bag of “mysterious white powder.” Or, something that looks a lot like cocaine.

According to the Sun, Delevingne dropped the baggie as she was trying to get into her house in London with a friend. The 20-year-old model was apparently trying to find her keys when the bag flew out of her purse.

A photographer, who took pictures of the incident, explains:

“She was trying to get inside her house. She said, ‘I’ve lost my keys guys, I’ve lost my keys’. She was really giggly. She found it hilarious but her friend was really edgy about it. Suddenly Cara dropped something and bent over to pick it up. Very discreetly, she just put her foot on it and then rolled her handbag across so it looked like she was just kind of bending over.”

But it was too late: photogs had already snapped that fateful white bag–and now, some of the model-of-the-moment’s high-profile campaign and company affiliations could be in jeopardy.

The Daily Mail is reporting that H&M is “investigating Miss Delevingne, whom it employed earlier this year as the face of its Divided clothing range.” The retailer has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy when it comes to drugs and famously dropped Kate Moss after her cocaine scandal.

Another retailer who might be reevaluating their relationship with the model is Victoria’s Secret. Delevingne walked the lingerie show in 2012 as a PINK girl–but, if these photos pick up steam she might not be asked back in 2013. A Victoria’s Secret spokesperson had no comment on the matter.

Part of the reason why Delevingne’s career might be in jeopardy is that, unlike Kate Moss, the 20-year-old model has been used by brands and magazines to market towards teens. Case in point: this month she covers Miss Vogue, Vogue UK’s answer to Teen Vogue. At the time of the cover release, Vogue UK EIC Alexandra Shulman described Delevingne as “Miss Vogue made physical” with a “maverick sense of style and fun.”

Of course, this is only a photo in a tabloid–and nothing has been confirmed. We’ve reached out to H&M and Vogue UK and are waiting to hear back.

Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour turned many amused heads at last night’s Great Gatsby premiere, after they turned up wearing identical Prada fur coats.

The skirt-lover and occasional dress-wearer, 50, teamed the women’s coat from Prada’s spring/summer 2013 collection with jeans and sneakers, while Ms Wintour, 63, threw hers over an evening dress.

Teen Vogue’s editor in chief, Amy Astley, snapped a picture of the matching pair on Instagram, writing: ’New York’s finest #annawintour @marcjacobsintl wearing @prada #thegreatgatsby screening. #bestfashionmoment

The fur coat, inset with Andy Warhol’s Pop art daisies in white, ’embraces traditional tropes of femininity and womanhood,’ explained Style.com in its review of the collection.

This isn’t the first time Mr Jacobs has invoked femininity and womanhood in his outfit choices.

The designer famously forewent pants at last year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala, wearing a see-through black lace shirt-dress over glaringly white boxers, paired with pilgrim-buckle shoes from his fall 2012 collection.

He explained to model and red-carpet host for the evening, Elettra Wiedemann: ’I just didn’t want to wear a tuxedo and be boring.’

Paying tribute to Miuccia Prada on that very evening, the designer added: ‘I think Miuccia Prada is such a celebration of the unconventional…. [she] continues to be a hero of mine.’

Fashion friends for more than 25 years, it seemed both Ms Wintour and Mr Jacobs took the surprising double-up lightheartedly.

In Ms Astley’s images, the duo are seen smirking and enveloped in conversation.

‘Great minds think alike. #annawintour @marcjacobsintl wearing @prada tonight #thegreatgatsby screening. Double good!’ she wrote.
